It's already June and we are close to reaching our official 2-month mark! A lot of hard work has gone into this already and I really can't believe it's only been 2 months. From creating new designs, curating our workspace and trying to get social online it's been an exciting but hard effort. This week's focus has been something that I've been dreading since the start, social media. I would rather spend my time working on new pieces that excited me, but I understand the importance of an online presence and have been putting my best foot forward.
The website has finally been updated with our actual pictures and I configured our SEO so that the website now shows up on Google. We've been posting more on Facebook, Instagram and even made our first TikTok videos. We are slowly getting our followers and I do love finding all the other local artists' pages and markets to follow back. The biggest upside to social media is that it does give me motivation to keep creating new things and I can prep posts to keep things fresh but not so time consuming.
Our current projects. Pride flags are currently in the process of being made! I am halfway through a set of four sun catchers that should be completed by mid-week.

Elaina has been in the shop this week working on a small sun catcher of a Koi inspired by the Koi Pond over at Bok Tower Gardens. You can see from the picture below that her workspace is a lot more organized than my own.

Kudos to her for that as I often feel like a goblin with my piles of glass and single black sharpie. Her piece is a bit more detailed as well but hoping we can add completed pictures by the end of next week. I hope everyone reading has a wonderful week and I will try to keep my posts updated weekly!
